Eau Claire (WQOW) – An Eau Claire man with a long rap sheet is facing new charges after allegedly holding a knife to a woman’s throat and raping her.

Alphonso Washington-Davis is charged with first degree sexual assault and several other felonies.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim told police she woke up in the middle of the night to Washington-Davis holding a knife to her throat. He covered her mouth when she tried to scream and told her was going to kill her before raping her.

Wednesday, Judge John Manydeeds ordered a $2,000 cash bond. As of 3 p.m. Wednesday, he remained in jail.
