Eau Claire (WQOW) – Did you get out and vote Tuesday? Well, a local restaurant offered free refreshments for those who did.

Northern Tap House in Eau Claire asked voters to bring in proof that they cast their ballot. Whether it was the “I Voted” sticker or a photo outside a polling place, they exchanged it for a free pint of domestic beer.

“Doing it for fun, just because we think it’s very important for people to share their opinion and their right to vote and to have a voice and we want to reward that,” said GM Gretta Hunt.”

This was the first time Northern Tap House has offered free beer to those who voted.
