Eau Claire (WQOW) – U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir made her final stop in Eau Claire before the election on Monday.

Vukmir spoke about healthcare, immigration reform and 2nd Amendment rights. The latest Marquette Poll placed Vukmir 11 points behind her Democratic opponent Tammy Baldwin.

News 18 asked Vukmir how much stock she puts into those numbers one day out from voters hitting the polls.

“People are excited, they are energized and I feel like we have momentum on our side,” Vukmir said. “I’m not looking at those polls and worrying about them because that didn’t work out very well two years ago for Hillary Clinton or Russ Feingold.”

Vukmir will be holding an election night event in Pewaukee with Governor Walker.
