Tonight: Candlelight vigil to remember lives lost near Lake Hallie

Chippewa County (WQOW) – There will be a candlelight vigil Sunday in memory of the four lives lost while picking up garbage Saturday between Chippewa Falls and Lake Hallie.

The vigil will begin at 6 p.m. at Halmstad Elementary School, 565 South Avenue in Chippewa Falls.

All are welcome to attend.

The vigil was announced by Nokomis Service Area Girl Scouts, the parent organization of Girl Scouts in Chippewa Falls, Bloomer and Jim Falls.
