Doug La Follette continues long-time run as secretary of state

(WQOW) – Doug La Follette has held the title as Wisconsin secretary of state for more than 35 years and that will continue.

La Follette defeated Republican challenger Jay Schroeder on Tuesday.

La Follette served a term as a state senator from 1972—1974. He was then elected secretary of state and has been reelected every four years since.
