Packers trade Ty Montgomery, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

UPDATE: A busy day in the Packers front office continues. NFL sources are now reporting the Packers have traded safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to the Washington Redskins.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter said the Packers will get a 2019 fourth round pick for Clinton-Dix.

Both Montgomery and Clinton-Dix are in their final years under contract.

Green Bay (WQOW) – The Green Bay Packers have traded their wide receiver turned running back Ty Montgomery, according to many NFL sources.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Montgomery has been traded to the Baltimore Ravens for a 7th round draft pick in 2020.

Montgomery came under fire for returning a kick out of the end zone and fumbling late in the game Sunday against the Rams. The Packers would lose the game by two.

The NFL Network reported Montgomery brought the ball out of the end zone because he was upset about being benched earlier in the game.

Montgomery was drafted in the third round of the 2015 draft by Green Bay. He has played his entire career for the Packers.
