Road Closure: Construction on WIS 37

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

(WQOW) – A section of a busy Eau Claire Highway will close down until early November.

Construction will begin on Highway 37 between 1-94 and US 12 in Eau Claire. In May, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation started an improvement project on Highway 37.

The work includes concrete pavement, storm sewer, curb, gutter, sidewalk and more. On Monday, segments of concrete will be poured and cured at Short Street and Hamilton Avenue intersections.

Through and left turns from Short Street and Hamilton Avenue will not be allowed. Right turns will remain open. Movements from Highway 37 will stay open as well. Construction is expected to be completed by early November.
