Eau Claire (WQOW) – The elections are two weeks away, and Governor Scott Walker stopped in Eau Claire this afternoon, following Friday’s final Gubernatorial debate against opponent Democrat Tony Evers.
While visiting with supporters, Governor Walker responded to a variety of topics, including health care. Walker responded to the question, ‘How will he protect those with pre-existing conditions?’.
“And that’s the big lie of the year across the state, is about pre-existing conditions,” said Governor Walker. “Pre-existing conditions are already covered in the state of Wisconsin. They will always be covered as long as I’m governor and it’s personal. My wife is a diabetic, my mother is a cancer survivor, my brother has a heart condition. Like a lot of families in this state covering pre-existing conditions is important to me.”
Election day is November 6.
