Barron County (WQOW) – The search for evidence in the case of missing teenager Jayme Closs and her deceased parents James and Denise Closs is underway.
Wisconsin DNR Warden Russell Fell is leading the search. He said 14 teams of seven volunteers are searching along Highway 8 from just west of the Closs’ home at 1268 Highway 8 to the city limits of Turtle Lake which is about 14 miles west of the home. They are not searching the woods, rather the ditches on the north and south side of Highway 8.
Fell said searchers should look for anything of interest.
