Barron Co. Sheriff to host town hall, connect with citizens after tragedy

Barron County (WQOW) – Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald is hosting a town hall meeting on Wednesday night.

The event comes two days after James and Denise Closs were found dead in their rural Barron home. Their daughter Jayme remains missing.

Fitzgerald said this will give him the opportunity to connect with the citizens of Barron County and have a private conversation about how the community is doing.

There will also be victim assistance personnel available to address wellness concerns.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. in the WITC Conference Center, 1900 College Drive in Rice Lake.

Media is not allowed inside the event.
