Woman killed in collision with horse in St. Croix County

St. Croix County (WQOW) – A woman is dead after hitting a horse in St. Croix County on Friday morning.

According to the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened Friday at about 6:42 a.m. on Highway T in the town of Pleasant Valley.

The investigation shows Diane Johnson, 53, from Hammond was on Highway T when she hit the horse in the middle of the road.

Both Johnson and the horse were killed.

Johnson was wearing a seat belt.

This is the 9th person killed in a crash in St. Croix County this year.
