Eau Claire (WQOW)- It’s been seven years since the Milwaukee Brewers made it to the National League Championship Series, and Friday night fans are watching anxiously hoping for a win.

The Brewers go up against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the first of the seven-game series. The winner goes on to the World Series.

The Brewers haven’t been to the World Series since 1982, when they played in the American League.

UW-Eau Claire student Morgan Frailing has been a Brewers fan her entire life, and said she’s out trying to find a Brewers shirt that says National League Central Champions to support her team Friday night.

“Super excited, but also really nervous because this has not happened in so long and I don’t even remember the last time when they made it far,” Frailing said. “I’m just really nervous almost because I feel like there’s so much pressure on us, but I believe that we can do it.”

Frailing said she’s going to be watching the game at a friend’s house Friday night, and hopes to go to the second game Saturday.

Friday night’s game will start just after seven at Miller Park in Milwaukee.
