Eau Claire (WQOW) – Sad news for foodies, October 5th, was the last day for Food Truck Friday, but it ended on a good note, despite the dreary weather, food truck vendor owners said the turn out was great!

Tents were set up to keep customers dry, some said they didn’t even notice the light sprinkling, they were too busy deciding on what type of food they wanted to eat. There were all kinds of food for people to purchase, from tacos, sliders, chili and more.

“I mean I feel like in Wisconsin people are used to the cold weather, so people come out no matter what especially if there is good food like there is here,” said Myron Marko, Owner of Holy Donuts.

“We haven’t really slowed done in there yet the lines are good the people are coming out we were a little skeptical earlier today …  Food Truck Friday has always been good to us,” said Mark Schuh, Owner of SmokeStream Food Truck.

News 18 spoke with food truck vendors and they all said they could not wait to serve next year’s crowd.
