Pierce County (WQOW) – A western Wisconsin sheriff’s deputy faces charges of sexually assaulting a child.

Allen Wojcik from Spring Valley is on paid administrative leave from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office. He has worked there since 2013.

According to the criminal complaint, Wojcik, 31, sexually assaulted a girl sometime between last November and January. She was 12 or 13 at the time. She said he later apologized and said, “we were both wrong.”

Wojcik denied the assault to investigators. He will be back in court later this month on four felony charges.
