Chippewa Valley (WQOW)- Today is National Voter Registration Day and Chippewa Valley Votes wants to give everyone the opportunity to register.
Volunteers will be around the Chippewa Valley registering voters for the upcoming fall election. Booths will be set up at multiple locations. They will be there to help anyone registering to vote and get their voter photo ID. Chippewa Valley Votes say individuals wishing to register should bring their drivers license or DMV photo ID card with current address or a proof of residency document such as a utility bill, paycheck, bank statement, residential lease, or a cell phone bill. If an individual has moved or changed their name since last voting, they must re-register in order to vote.
