Man found passed out in car, arrested on drug charges in Trempealeau Co

Arcadia (WQOW) – A Minnesota man is behind bars after being arrested on a number of charges Thursday morning in Arcadia.

According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office, Jonathan Standerfer, 42, of Rochester MN was found unconscious, slumped over the wheel at a gas station in Arcadia.

A responding deputy found him unconscious with a large knife on his lap and meth paraphernalia on the passenger seat.

That’s when Standerfer woke up, opened the car door and fell out onto the ground. He was arrested.

After being placed into handcuffs, he began to resist arrest and was transported to the hospital, and then to the Trempealeau County Jail.

Standerfer admitted to being awake for days using meth.

Standerfer is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting or obstructing an officer and throwing or discharging bodily fluids at public safety workers.
