Crews recover bodies of two boaters who went missing after crash

Vinland (WISN)- Authorities on Sunday evening recovered the bodies of two women who were thrown overboard when their boat collided with another boat on Lake Winnebago on Saturday.

The identities of the two Neenah woman, aged 20 and 26, were confirmed but not publicly released. The crash happened just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday when a 26-foot Crownline E6XS boat with two people aboard collided with a 20-foot Rinker Captiva boat with four occupants. A Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said the women and a dog were thrown from the Rinker Captiva. The dog was found Saturday night, but it did not survive.
