911 outage reported in Barron County

Barron County (WQOW) – Emergency 911 services may be down in Barron County.

The Barron County Sheriff’s office said a CenturyLink communications line was cut, and that has the potential of impacting 911 calls in Barron County. CenturyLink was notified of the cut line around 6:30 Sunday evening.

If you have an emergency in Barron County, and you cannot contact dispatch by dialing 911, you can contact the non-emergency line at 715-537-3196.

Technicians are en route to make repairs, but it is not known when service will be restored.
