Democrats say VP Pence bringing anti-healthcare agenda to Eau Claire

(WQOW) – The Democratic Party of Wisconsin put out a statement Wednesday afternoon saying Vice President Mike Pence is bringing his “anti-healthcare agenda into our state.”

A statement put out by Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Martha Laning went on to say voters will be going to the polls with healthcare top of mind next month.

“Today, as millions of Wisconsinites with pre-existing conditions worry about the future of their health coverage,  Scott Walker and Leah Vukmir welcomed Vice President Pence and his anti-health care agenda into our state. Walker, Vukmir, and Pence have worked for years to undermine access to affordable health care, and all three support the lawsuit that would eliminate protections for the 2.4 million Wisconsinites with a pre-existing condition. Make no mistake, health care is on the ballot this November, and Wisconsin has a chance to elect a governor and re-elect a U.S. Senator who aren’t afraid to stand up to the White House when its policies threaten millions of hardworking people across the state.” –  Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Martha Laning

Pence made a stop in both Green Bay and Eau Claire on Wednesday campaigning for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

Weather Outlook: Active weather pattern returns, bringing multiple rounds of snow

We’ve had a couple of dustings of snow over the past week, including yesterday, but it’s been a full week now since our last big system. Thankfully, we’ve been able to catch up on clearing the snow, and are close to getting back in the swing of things. Just as we settle down, however, we return back to an active weather pattern that will bring several chances for more accumulating snow over the next couple of weeks.
