Grains higher, livestock mixed

Wheat for Sept. advanced 17.75 cents at 5.04 a bushel; Sept. corn rose 1.25 cents at 3.5550 a bushel; Sept. oats gained 4.25 cents at $2.3875 bushel; while Sep. soybeans was 1.50 cents higher at $8.3350 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Aug. live cattle was up .20 cent at $1.1015 a pound; Sept. feeder cattle fell .45 cent at 1.5252 a pound; while Oct. lean hogs rose .30 cent at $.5595 a pound.
