GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Kentucky ended one of college football’s longest losing streaks by upsetting No. 25 Florida 27-16 Saturday night in the Swamp. Terry Wilson accounted for three touchdowns, Benny Snell ran for 175 yards and the Wildcats beat the Gators for the first time since 1986. Kentucky hadn’t won in Gainesville since 1979. The 31-game streak had been the fourth-longest in NCAA history in an uninterrupted series.
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Jake Fromm threw a touchdown while the latest group of Georgia rushers in D’Andre Swift, Elijah Holyfield and Brian Herrien all had TDs as the third-ranked Bulldogs turned an expected Southeastern Conference showdown with No. 24 South Carolina into a 41-17 blowout. Fromm completed 15 of 18 passes, Holyfield led the rushing crew with 76 yards and Georgia’s defense intercepted Gamecocks’ Jake Bentley twice.

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Nick Fitzgerald returned from a suspension two throw two touchdown passes as No. 18 Mississippi State routed Kansas State 31-10. Kylin Hill added 211 yards rushing and accounted for three TDs as the Bulldogs earned their first road win over a Power Five opponent since Sept. 16, 1995, when they beat another Big 12 foe in Baylor.
