Katrina Lim

Katrina Lim joined the News 18 team in August 2019 as a multimedia journalist.  She was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey but has lived in all time zones of the contiguous U.S.A.

She started her career in journalism as a multimedia journalist for KEVN Black Hills FOX News/KOTA Territory News in Rapid City, South Dakota back in October 2016.  There she covered almost any topic from education to breaking news to politics.

Before her first TV news job in the Black Hills of South Dakota, she interned at WLS-TV ABC 7 Chicago and KLBM & KBKR Super Talk News radio station in La Grande, Oregon.  She also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University Chicago in May 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.

Now, Katrina spends her days in Eau Claire cooking, bowling, and singing karaoke.  She’s also a self-proclaimed nerd who loves anime, cosplay, and kpop music.

She’s looking forward to working at WQOW and getting to know the people of Chippewa Valley.  If you have a story idea or would just like to say hi, send her an email or follow her on Facebook and Twitter @KatrinaLimTV.
