Stephen Kelley

Stephen Kelley joined the News 18 team in August 2006. He is currently the 10:00 PM Evening Anchor/Producer.

Stephen was born in Iowa City, Iowa before moving to Platteville, Wisconsin. He graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2008 with a degree in broadcast journalism. During his college career, he was executive producer, news director and anchor of the campus news program It’s U We C. He also received a WBA student award for best producer. Professionally, Stephen won a WBA award for his work on the Sports OT Online Wrap.

Stephen moved back into the newsroom as producer and anchor of the 10:00 PM Report in April of 2016.

Stephen is an avid sports fan, lists the Cubs, Bears, and Hawkeyes among his favorite teams. Despite cheering for some of their rivals, he says he’s grown to appreciate Wisconsin sports teams. He married his wife Amber during the biggest snow storm in Eau Claire history (22 inches of snow!). When he’s not working, Stephen enjoys spending time with his friends and family, writing, playing sports and traveling.

Weather Outlook: DANGEROUS COLD- Deep freeze on our doorstep

While light snow is possible tonight, the bigger concern is the arctic air moving in that will bring an extended stretch of dangerously cold temperatures. In addition, areas to our south and west that got more snow over the past week will have some ground blizzard conditions as a strong wind brings in that cold air.
