Pepin County (WQOW) –
A 30-year-old from Durand was killed in a rollover crash Monday afternoon.

Dispatchers got the call about a one-car crash on State Highway 85 near West County Line Road at about 3:30 Monday. When deputies got there, they found a Chevy Impala off the road on its roof, and a witness trying to save the driver.

The driver was 30-year-old Kyle Hayden of Durand. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Hayden was the only person in the car.

The sheriff’s office said Hayden was wearing his seat belt, and they don’t believe alcohol or speed contributed to the crash. The Pepin County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating what caused it.
