08/14: Interview – Alzheimer’s Association Annual Funraiser

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

The Alzheimer’s Association is hosting its fourth annual fundraiser.

The fundraiser is based on 100% donations, so every dollar raised goes directly to the Alzheimer’s Association. With the money, they help fund research, education and outreach programs in the community to raise awareness and help find a cure. The disease affects so many people. Every 65 seconds someone in the United States develops the disease. Currently, there are 5.8 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s. And it not only affects the person with the disease, but also the families and caregivers.

At the fundraiser, there will be a charcoal chicken dinner, lots of raffle items, a band as well as a 5 night all-inclusive trip for 2 donated by Wissota Travel. The trip is a voucher for $2000 that can be used towards a trip of your choice.

The fundraiser is set for Saturday, August 17 at The Sandbar in Chippewa Falls. For more information, be sure to watch the full interview above.
