Eau Claire (CVRD)- The Chippewa Valley Roller Derby is getting ready for their final home bout of the season.

Chippewa Valley Roller Derby is lacing up their skates for their final home bout of season 9! In ‘Ready Skater One’, CVRD will play a double-header. The first game is CVRD vs Dead River Derby from Marquette, MI.

Then in game two, CVRD will take on the MNRG Debu-Taunts from St. Paul, MN. Each bout CVRD donates to a local charity, and this time a portion of the night’s proceeds will go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

This event is for all ages! Tickets are $8 ahead of time or $10 at the door, and kids 12 and under are FREE! Doors open at 5:00 p.m. at the YMCA Sports Center and the game starts at 5:30 p.m. There is some bleacher seating, or some fans choose to bring their own chairs, otherwise there is track-side seating for 18+ only! CVRD is excited to close out season 9 in a big way with all of its fans!

Ever thought about joining a derby team? Well CVRD is always recruiting and we’re always looking for new skaters, referees and non-skating officials! All you have to do is contact CVRD at recruit@cvrderby.com. No skating experience necessary!
