Menomonie (MENOMONIE HIGH SCHOOL)- Menomonie High School is set to open the musical, ‘Catch Me if You Can’. It will open March 8 at the high school.

The characters are based off the same charater form the movies but this musical surely won’t be same as the movie. Frank Abagnale Jr. gained notoriety in the U.S. and overseas for his fraudulent crimes. He was later hired by the FBI as an expert on forgery and document theft, becoming the subject of the film ‘Catch Me If You Can.’ During his crime spree, he forged checks and credit totaling over $2.5 million. He was known for impersonating a variety of White Collar professionals, most famously a pilot for Pan Am in the late 1960s as well as a Doctor in Georgia.

There are more than 80 students involved in the production on stage and behind the scenes.

Menomonie High School Theatre Department will be presenting ‘Catch Me If You Can’ on several days so everyone has an opportunity  to catch the show.

March 8, 9 at 7:30 p.m.
March 10th at 1:30 p.m.
March 14, 15, 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets will be $3 for students and seniors, and $5 for adults.
