Eau Claire (CHILDREN’S THEATRE)- If you’re looking for a great show to see, the Eau Claire Children’s Theatre has some upcoming shows you won’t want to miss.

One performance to see is “Henry and Romona”.  Henry and Ramona opens Nov. 2 at The Oxford. The play is based on the classic children’s books by Beverly Cleary. The play, with a cast of 22 kids and adults, follows the adventures of Henry Higgins, his friend Beezus and that lovable pest Ramona Quimby. The show is being performed with 4 school matinees and 4 public shows.

Public shows are Nov. 2 at 7:30pm, Nov. 3 at 11 am and 1:30 pm and Nov. 4 at 1:30 pm. You can purchase tickets online at ecct.org, call 715-839-8877 or at the door.

Another show to they will be putting on is Cinderella. The musical “Cinderella” will be the first big musical of the 30th Anniversary Season for ECCT and the first community theatre production in the RCU Theatre at the Pablo Center. This is the Minneapolis Children’s Theatre musical version of the classic story and features slapstick comedy, topical jokes, audience interaction, video projections and pop songs. Of course it’s still the Cinderella story that everyone knows- but in a way you’ve never seen before here in Eau Claire.

Shows are Nov. 16 & 17 at 7:30 pm and Nov. 17 & 18 at 1:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased at pablocenter.org.
