Eau Claire (REACH FOR THE STARS)- Reach for the Stars will be holding their annual gala to help raise funds for the Scholarship Fund.

The evening consists of a dinner, a silent art auction, and a live auction. All funds raised go towards the Reach for the Funds scholarship. The money raised helps adults with disabilities attend Reach full time. It also helps the Supported Employment Services program work with veterans who are disabled, helping them find work. Since the inception of this fund, they have raised $35,000.

This year there will be a guest speaker, Rachel and David Hanson. David is a member at Reach. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and he and his wife give a presentation about his journey. Representative Warren Petryk will be performing. The Special Angels are the headliners. They are a group of kids of Memorial and North. They are a part of the Special Education program. They are a dance group and put on a dance performance. They will have a silent art auction with artwork from the members. The live auction will feature items donated from local businesses and organizations. Some packages include a spa package from Paradise Massage, a date night package, a fitness package, and we will have more items the night of.

This will be on November 16th, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Florian Gardens at 2340 Lorch Ave.
Eau Claire. Tickets are $65 per person or $500 per table. You must order by Oct. 31st.
