9/18: Men and Women Who Cook

Eau Claire (MEN AND WOMEN WHO COOK)- Everyone is invited for a unique fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club that will feature 20 local “celebrity” men and women who will be sharing samplings of their best dish.

Come on out for the 6th Annual Men and Women Who Cook at the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds. There are expecting approximately 400 people to attend the event. Every penny raised will go straight to the Boys & Girls Club, Chippewa Falls Center. This fun filled evening showcases some of the best chef’s in the Chippewa Valley. Some not necessarily by trade, but by their culinary skills! Each dish is judged by traveling judges that evening.

Awards will be given out for appearances, taste, and creativity. There will be 4 main categories: appetizers, soup/salad, entrees and dessert. You can vote for your favorite chef online by visiting their website. Other awards will include best of show, top chef, rookie of the year, and fan favorite.

Tickets are $35.00 per person in advance and $40.00 per person at the door. It is $500.00 for a reserved table of 8 with complimentary drink ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the Boys & Girls Club – Chippewa Falls 21 E. Grand Avenue
