Indiana (CNN)- A young cancer patient in Indiana got a special escort to her second-to-last chemo treatment.
The little girl was diagnosed with eye cancer when she was just three-months old. Monday, the five-year-old got a surprise when she left Hammond for Indianapolis. She asked about bringing some of her officer friends on the long trip to her chemotherapy treatment and the police officers took the request seriously. After the appointment, the officers planned to take her to lunch and maybe do a little shopping, too! What little girl doesn’t love to shop!
