9/10: Cub Scouts

Eau Claire (CUB SCOUTS)- If you’re looking to join the Cub Scouts, now is your time to do it. Tim Molepske a local scout executive and CEO told us a little more about this great organization.

Cub Scouting is a family-oriented, active program for girls and boys in grades K -5. Kids do a variety of activities such as field trips, team-building activities, and outdoor programs. Most importantly, kids have fun with others their age and make new friends and are able to enjoy an activity together with an adult from their family. Families can join now by visiting www.wearescouts.org. Each school will have a sign up night in the month of September as well. Information on that will come will be provided by the school. All Eau Claire public schools are on Tues. Sept 11, at 7pm.

Many Cub Scout Packs will have age-based groups of boys and age-based groups of girls. This lets the entire family participate. Some activities will be together and others will be separate.

The cost to join is $48.75. It’s important to know that they have financial assistance available so that no family is turned away. All children who join will get their Cub Scout Handbook at no cost and are invited to an event in late September just like this one at no cost.
