Prison ordered for man charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a child

Barron County (WQOW) – Prison time was ordered Wednesday for a Chetek man charged with repeated sexual assault of a child.

Barron County Judge Michael Bitney ordered Matthew Riebe to spend 10 years behind bars. He must also register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Riebe was accused of assaulting a 13-year-old girl four times in 2014. He first told investigators he did not remember if anything happened.
