Chippewa Falls (WQOW) – A man is in custody after allegedly stabbing his former roommate and former boss in Chippewa Falls Wednesday evening.
According to Chippewa Falls Police Chief Matt Kelm, around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, Chippewa Falls police were called to the HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital ER for a man with multiple stab wounds.
Police said that man, Bernard Robinson, had been stabbed by Michael Pierce, 44.
Officer learned Pierce allegedly went to Robertson’s home to confront him about a debt armed with several knives.
Once Robertson got home, Pierce stabbed him several times. Pierce then forced Robertson to bring him to an ATM to withdraw money. They returned to Robertson’s home. That’s when Pierce took a bike and left. Robertson went to the hospital.
An officer responding to where the stabbing happened found Pierce. He was taken into custody.
Robertson is expected to be OK.
