Jail time ordered for man arrested in drug bust along I-94

Dunn County (WQOW) – One of two people arrested after a drug bust along Interstate 94 will spend a year in jail.

r was sentenced Friday by Dunn County Judge James Peterson.

Weiner and Frances Mattson, both from Eau Claire, were involved in a crash near Elk Mound in April.

State Patrol troopers said the two admitted to using drugs.

A search of their car turned up a pound of pot, LSD, amphetamines, XANAX and synthetic pot.

Mattson is due in court next month.
