Chippewa Valley residents flock to Carson Park to celebrate 4th of July

Eau Claire (WQOW) — Thousands from the Chippewa Valley spent most of their Independence Day in Carson Park to celebrate.

The Chippewa Valley Museum and the Paul Bunyan Logging Camp Museum hosted events from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday to celebrate the 4th of July. People enjoyed lives music, games, and exhibits. Officials told News 18 this annual event is a great way for families to spend the holiday together, and with their community. These events helped lead up to the annual fireworks display after the Eau Claire Express baseball game.
