Resilient Community: Barron plans event to help residents heal

Barron County (WQOW) — The Barron community that has undergone so much hardship in the last few months is planning an event to help residents heal.

On February 16, they will hold an “Our Resilient Community” event. It will include a presentation on how to handle grief and loss in a healthy way. Grief expert Kal W. Rissman will be the featured speaker at the event.

The event will be held at the Barron Area Community Center from 10:00 a.m. to noon. It is free and open to the public, but those attending are asked to RSVP by February 14. You can do so by contacting the Barron Area School District office at (715) 537-5612 or sending an email to sadtlerji@barron.k12.wi.us.
