Candidate forum held in Eau Claire

Eau Claire (WQOW) — Voters got to hear where local legislative candidates stand on the issues at a forum on Thursday.

Candidates running for the 23rd and 31st Senate Districts, as well as candidates in the 67th, 68th, 91st and 93rd Assembly seats participated in the forum at Chippewa Valley Technical College.

The candidates discussed issues like workforce support, investments in higher education, Foxconn and solving Wisconsin’s transportation issues.

After the moderated question and answer portion, the candidates moved to tables to interact with the voters.
