Minnesota motorcyclist killed in Pepin County crash

Pepin County (WQOW)– A motorcyclist from Minnesota died in a Saturday afternoon crash near the Pepin County village of Stockholm.

The Pepin County Sheriff’s office identified the victim as Daniel Folsom, 63, from Richfield, MN.

Folsom was heading north on Wisconsin Highway 35 two miles north of Stockholm just after 2:00 PM when he hit a guardrail and was thrown from his bike.  Authorities say he was not wearing a helmet.

They say speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
