Police: Eau Claire high schools receive threats, suspects identified

Eau Claire (WQOW) — The Eau Claire Police Department has confirmed that Eau Claire North and Memorial high schools received threats of bomb and gun violence early Saturday morning.

The Eau Claire Police Department told News 18 that two suspects were identified — an Eau Claire student and another from California. ECPD said the Eau Claire student, a juvenile, is being referred for making terroristic threats.

Police said there is currently no threat of violence from this incident.
