Green Bay (WBAY) – The Green Bay Packers have traded QB Brett Hundley to the Seattle Seahawks, according to reports from ESPN’s Rob Demovsky and Adam Schefter.
The Packers will receive a 2019 draft pick in return for Hundley. NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport says the Packers will get a sixth round pick.
Schefter reports DeShone Kizer will officially become Aaron Rodgers’ backup in Green Bay.
Hundley will back up Russell Wilson in Seattle.
WBAY Sports Director Chris Roth says it was the best-case scenario for Hundley who is in the final year of a rookie contract.
