Chippewa Falls police trying to find who vandalized walking trail under Hwy 124

Chippewa Falls (WQOW) – Chippewa Falls police are investigating another graffiti case on a walking trail near the city.

Police want your help identifying who wrote on the walls of the walking/biking tunnel under Highway 124.

According to the police department, the city has addressed graffiti issues in the past by painting over it, but people continue to vandalize.

News 18 reported earlier this month that the sheriff’s office was trying to figure out who vandalized the Old Abe Trail near Highway 178.

This new vandalism is not a part of the same trail, however – it is in the tunnel underneath Highway 124 near Southview Elementary.

If you have any information about this latest incident that could help police identify the suspect(s) in this case, you are asked to contact Chippewa Falls Police on Facebook or by calling Lt. Brian Micolichek at 715-726-2705. You may remain anonymous.
