Altoona Board of Education to consider salary increases for faculty, staff

Altoona (WQOW) – Many Altoona school staff members could see a boost in their pay next school year.

According to their recent agenda, the Altoona Board of Education will consider salary increases for several of their administration, educators, advisors and other support staff, during its meeting Monday night.

The increase would apply to the upcoming 2018-2019 school year.

The board will discuss these increases during a closed session meeting Monday, August 20 at 6:30 p.m.
