UPDATE: Buffalo County robbery suspect taken into custody

Buffalo County (WQOW) –
The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect from a robbery on Thursday has been taken into custody.

The sheriff’s office had been using drones and K-9s to search for the man.

He was arrested Thursday afternoon. 

No other details were available.


Buffalo County (WQOW) – The Buffalo County Sheriff’s office is looking for a man wanted for allegedly stealing from a convenience store and fleeing in a stolen vehicle.

According to the sheriff’s office, the man was last seen in the Alma area Thursday morning.

They say the convenience store robbery happened Wednesday night around 6:30. The suspect ran from the truck into a wooded area when it got stuck on a side road off of Highway 35 south of Alma. 

He is not believed to be armed. 

The sheriff’s office is using a K-9 and drones to search for the man. They say if you spot him, do not approach him and call 911 immediately.
