Roads reopen after gas leak downtown Eau Claire

Eau Claire (WQOW) – Roads near the courthouse in Eau Claire have reopened after a large gas leak Thursday morning.

According to the Eau Claire Police Department, there is a house under construction in the area of Oxford Avenue and Grand Avenue and construction caused a gas leak.

Roads were shut down to keep people out of the area. Some homes were also evacuated.
