(WQOW) – President Trump took to Twitter Wednesday morning giving congratulations to three Wisconsin GOP primary winners.
The president called Governor Walker "very special" saying he will have another great win in November. He also said he endorses the incumbent Wisconsin governor.
Trump also congratulated Leah Vukmir – saying she beat a very tough and good competitor. He also endorsed Vukmir. She defeated Kevin Nicholson to win the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate. Vukmir will face Sen. Tammy Baldwin in November.
Bryan Steil won the Republican nomination for U.S. Congress District 1, the seat currently held by Rep. Paul Ryan. Ryan said he was not seeking reelection to spend more time with his family. Trump said Steil is replacing "a great guy" in Paul Ryan.
Scott Walker is very special and will have another great win in November. He has done a fantastic job as Governor of Wisconsin and will always have my full support and Endorsement!
