(WQOW) – In a race that impacts all Wisconsinites, at one time 16 Democrats were running for the chance to face Governor Scott Walker in November.
As the campaign went on, eight candidates made it to the primary, and Tony Evers came out on top to win the nomination.
Evers is the Wisconsin State Superintendent and the only candidate to win a state-wide race. A Marist/NBC News poll had him favored by double digits over Walker in the general election.
