UPDATE: Police ID man killed in Rusk County motorcycle crash

Rusk County (WQOW) –
Police have identified the man killed in a Rusk County motorcycle crash over the weekend. 

According to the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office, Dwight John Cooley, 58, of Ladysmith was killed when his motorcycle was rear-ended by a car on Highway 8 on Saturday.


Rusk County (WQOW) – A motorcyclist was killed in a Saturday evening crash in Rusk County.  Sheriff Jeffery Wallace says the victim died when his bike was rear-ended by a car on Highway 8 around 5:25 PM.

It happened in the village of Glen Flora, at the intersection of Highway 8 and County Road B as the motorcyclist was trying to make a left turn.

The name of the victim is being withheld until relatives are notified.
