Vukmir responds to attack ads on her support for Trump

Eau Claire (WQOW) – Republican U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir said she was fully on board with President Trump when he became the Republican nominee.

Vukmir’s stop at the GOP office in Eau Claire Saturday afternoon is a part of several stops she is making before Tuesday’s partisan primary. News 18 asked Vukmir about a recent attack ad that shows video of Vukmir saying she doesn’t endorse Trump, and that Trump is "offensive to everyone".

"It’s not a surprise," said Vukmir. "There are a lot of people in Wisconsin that weren’t with Trump from the beginning. But once he became our nominee, I’ve been with him since, and I am proud to stand with him. And let’s face it, Donald Trump is winning and he’s making a difference for our country. And the more that he does that, the more I see people just completely invigorated and wanting to support him."

Vukmir said she will not be taking her foot off the gas peddle, because she is on the road until election day. You can find the video used in Nicholson’s attack ad here.
