2 injured in Jackson County semi crash

Jackson County (WQOW) – Two people are injured after a semi ran into the back of another semi on Interstate 94 near Black River Falls. 

According to the Wisconsin DOT, the crash happened Thursday morning around 2:30. Officials say a semi was traveling eastbound on Interstate 94 when it hit another semi parked on the right shoulder. The crash blocked the entire road. 

The driver of the semi sitting on the side of the road was taken by ambulance to Black River Memorial Hospital. The driver of the moving semi was flown to Gunderson Hospital in La Crosse.

Names were not released by the DOT.
